The MK46 is a so-called LMG - Light Machine Gun , a somewhat eichtere Version des legendären M249 Maschinengewehrs.
The A&K Airsoft replica of the Mark 46 licensed by Cybergun in the short Para version with original markings from FN Minimi has, like the original, a fully automatic electric shot drive and an extremely reliable M249 special metal gearbox with a quick-release spring system.
The LMG is mostly made of metal. Body, RAS, Flashhider, barrel and handle are made of extremely high quality, CNC milled steel and aluminum .
The only polymer parts are the pistol grip, the foregrip and the box magazine that holds 2,500 BBs. The metal bipod, which can be folded out and can be adjusted 3 times in length, is located under the handguard.
The stock is adjustable in 6 positions and can be individually adapted to the shooter. The handle can be exchanged for any M4 / M16 standard model.
Since the box magazine is an electric version with sound control , two AA batteries are required to operate the magazine (not included).
The magazine automatically reloads BBs using the automatic sound control function. In addition to the box magazine, the MK1 can also be operated with a TM-compatible M4 / M16 AEG magazine.
There is enough space under the barrel for a 9.6V Nunchuck NiMh or 7.4V LiPo battery (each with a maximum diameter of 25mm). The fact that the handguard has to be removed for this is not a big problem, as it can be removed and reassembled with a quick ejection system without tools.
The Gearbox is specially designed for this model and has a spring quick-change system, 8 mm ball bearings and other very high-quality components. The barrel with a length of 315 mm and a diameter of 6.08 mm guarantees the best results for an LMG.
The LMG is the perfect choice for support fire with high mobility and maneuverability at the same time.
Experienced support gunner will soon no longer notice any difference to a normal assault rifle in terms of weight and length, but will still provide far more supportive firepower.
