The UZI Observation Device UZI-OD-1 combines directional audio capture with optical observation and digital recording capabilities. The device features a parabolic antenna for focused audio pickup , an integrated 8x magnification monocular , and digital recording and playback functions.
According to the manufacturer/retailer, the parabolic design enables the detection of sounds from a distance of up to 90 meters . Integrated noise reduction helps to reduce distracting background noise.
For optical observation, an 8x magnifying monocular with a focus wheel is integrated. This allows distant areas to be optically targeted simultaneously.
The device features a digital audio recording and playback function . Additionally, a video recording function with a recording duration of up to 12 seconds is specified.
Features include a microphone, on/off switch, frequency control, record and playback buttons, and headphones. The rubberized black surface ensures comfortable handling and is complemented by the characteristic yellow UZI logo .
