The UZI Defender Tactical Pen combines the functionality of a full-fledged writing instrument with a particularly robust construction made of lightweight aircraft-grade aluminum . Its compact design and high durability make it ideal as an EDC pen for everyday use, outdoor activities, and professional applications .
A special feature is the specially designed tip with a DNA catcher . According to the manufacturer, this is designed to collect biological material from an attacker in a self-defense situation, which can potentially aid in later identification.
Despite its robust construction, the UZI Tactical Pen remains a fully functional ballpoint pen . It is compatible with standard refills as well as Fisher Space Pen refills , and can therefore be easily reused with suitable replacement refills.
