The Triggercam 2.1+ Shot Observation Camera from Eyecam Technologies is a high-performance camera for direct mounting on the eyepiece of a riflescope. It was specifically developed for sport shooters, long-range shooters, hunters, trainers, and spotters who want to capture, analyze, or view the actual image through their optics live on a smartphone or tablet.
The key difference to the standard Triggercam 2.1 is the mount for larger riflescope eyepieces . While the Triggercam 2.1 supports a maximum of approximately 48 mm, the Triggercam 2.1+ was designed for eyepieces up to approximately 51.5 mm . This makes it suitable, among other things, for larger premium riflescopes.
The housing is made of aircraft-grade aluminum combined with shock-absorbing materials and is designed for high recoil loads and demanding outdoor conditions. With its compact dimensions of 100 × 50 × 93.2 mm and a weight of approximately 453 g, the camera can be mounted directly on the riflescope.
The Triggercam 2.1+ records videos at up to 4K resolution at 30 fps . For fast-paced action and detailed shot analysis , 1080p at up to 120 fps and 720p at up to 240 fps are also available. Integrated video stabilization helps reduce movement and recoil effects on the recorded image.
The camera can be connected to the TRIGGERCAM app via its integrated Wi-Fi . This allows you to stream live video to your smartphone or tablet , control recordings, view saved videos and photos, and transfer files directly to your mobile device. The app is available for iOS and Android .
An integrated 360° true-sound microphone enables audio recording and can be deactivated if needed. The quick-record function allows for particularly fast recording start times.
The Triggercam 2.1+ essentially offers the proven camera and recording functions of the Triggercam 2.1, but was specifically designed for larger eyepiece diameters .
Triggercam 2.1: maximum recording approx. 48 mm without adapter sleeve
Triggercam 2.1+: maximum recording approx. 51.5 mm without adapter sleeve
According to the manufacturer, the included 2.1+ eyepiece holders cover sizes from 40 to 50.5 mm . This makes the Plus version particularly interesting for riflescopes with larger eyepiece housings. Triggercam cites the ZCO, Schmidt & Bender PM II, and Leica Fortis 6 as examples.

Before ordering, the outer diameter of the riflescope eyepiece should be measured precisely . In addition to the diameter, there must also be sufficient free mounting surface on the eyepiece. Controls, illumination switches, or other protruding components on the eyepiece can prevent the camera from being mounted.
The Triggercam 2.1+ was specifically designed for larger eyepieces . For smaller riflescope eyepieces, the regular Triggercam 2.1 may be the more suitable option.
The Triggercam 2.1+ must only be mounted and used in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
Before each use, check that the camera and adapter are securely attached to the riflescope . An improperly mounted camera can become dislodged by recoil or movement.
The device contains an integrated lithium-ion battery . Do not open, damage, or modify the casing. Protect the device from extreme heat and mechanical damage.
The IP64 protection class offers protection against dust and splashing water, but does not mean that the camera is suitable for immersion in water.
When using the video and audio recording functions, the applicable data protection, privacy and recording regulations must be observed.
