The entire K3 stab protection vest is made with the CEST Armor Basic material . The stab protection of the new CEST Armor Basic material is guaranteed by a firmly pressed AK (Antiknife) felt . This fabric is only 1.5 mm thick and weighs 400 g /sqm.
The technical values are outstanding. Certified according to EN 388-16 cut protection level 3 and stab protection level 4.
Furthermore, 30 x 25 cm, 2.5 mm aluminum plates can optionally be inserted at the front and back , which ensure puncture protection of type "K 3". The VPAM test with the plates showed a value of 66 joules.
A big advantage of this stab protection vest , in addition to the best stab and cut-resistant properties, is the excellent wearing comfort.
The vest can be generously adjusted in the shoulder and hip areas using Velcro .
Attention: If the fabric is damaged, this clothing loses its protective function.
