This faithful M4 replica from APS is based on a construction that is typical of a number of popular American assault rifles. The MKV Carbine is equipped with a modular KeyMod handguard in the APS Conception Edition .
A 22 mm RIS rail enables various optical sights to be attached. The set also includes a kit with a folding visor. The replica is also suitable for left-handers, since practically all manipulators and levers can be used in a double-sided system . In addition, the APS Phantom Extremis has an APS Phantom Overload pistol grip with replaceable, non-slip EVA plates, which also include a system to absorb the shock generated by the engine, thus improving the efficiency of the system.
The KeyMod system mentioned above is probably the most characteristic feature of this replica. KeyMod is a universal assembly platform that allows the replica to be fully customized to the individual needs of each user.
It is an "open source" project designed by Eric Kincel. The shape of the hand protection has been designed so that the front and rear parts act as hand-stop handles, which significantly improves ergonomics and makes additional accessories unnecessary.
The replica has an RS-1 telescopic shaft with adjustable length, in which the battery can be accommodated. The heart of the APS Phontom consists of a new "Silver Edge" gearbox.
The Gearbox is equipped with a quick spring change system, with which the user can change the muzzle velocity of the MK1 very quickly without having to open the Gearbox. Nevertheless, the construction is fully compatible with most of the tuning parts and spare parts available on the market in the TM V2 standard .
