The MKIII is an improved version of the CAM870 MKI . APS uses the push-pin system, but the internals have been modified to ensure real shotgun shells cannot be used.
With the help of the extended pressure bolt, the CAM MKIII pump gun can reach up to 360 fps / 1.20 joules . The CAM MKIII Shotgun is 100% compatible with MKI cartridges and Smart Shot cartridges.
Smart Shotshells allow the user to fill directly into the shell. When using an 88g Co2 adapter , filling works three times faster than with the old MKI system.
