The Allen ULTRX Bionic active hearing protection combines reliable hearing protection with electronic sound amplification and high wearing comfort. It was developed for use in shooting sports, training, and other noisy environments .

The hearing protection is tested and certified according to ANSI S3.19 and achieves an NRR protection value of 22 dB .

Two integrated high-gain stereo microphones amplify ambient sounds and support clear, spatial perception. If the noise level reaches 82 dB , the microphones automatically switch off within just 0.02 seconds to protect hearing from excessive sound levels.

For exceptionally clear audio reproduction, Allen relies on Studio Harmonics technology . This was developed for high sound quality and clear reproduction of recorded ambient sounds.

Compatible external audio devices can be connected to the hearing protection via the integrated AUX port .

Power is supplied by 2 AAA batteries . These are not included.

The ULTRX Bionic is also designed for extended use in terms of comfort. An extra-padded headband and soft earcups ensure a comfortable fit. The rubberized outer surface simultaneously increases durability and supports long-lasting use.

The stated NRR value of 22 dB assumes proper use and correct fit. The actual level of protection achieved may vary under real-world conditions.

According to the manufacturer, the electronic microphones switch off automatically at 82 dB within 0.02 seconds . This electronic function does not replace the passive protection provided by hearing protection.

In cases of particularly high or persistently high sound levels , additional hearing protection, for example through suitable earplugs , may be necessary.

Before each use, check the ear pads, headband, microphones, electronics and battery compartment for damage and proper function .

Remove the batteries if the product will not be used for an extended period. Insert and dispose of batteries according to the manufacturer's instructions.
