OLight's PL-2 Valkyrie is the brightest compact taclight on the market.
The maximum light output of the tactical flashlight is 1,200 lumens with a constant range of 235 meters.
The flashlight is equipped with a CREE XHP35 HI LED , which creates a very well-focused, white light. Power is supplied by two CR123 batteries (not included).
The heart of the flashlight consists of advanced electronics that control the flow of current to the XML diode. This allows the flashlight to glow with the same power until the battery is completely discharged. The Active Thermal Management System protects the diode from overheating while it is working in the most powerful mode (1,200 lumens). After 90 seconds, it reduces the voltage and stabilizes the light at a level of around 600 lumens. After switching off the flashlight and reactivating it, the Taclight is operated again in the most powerful mode.
The flashlight is switched on with a convenient switch in the back. The switch is double-sided, which means that the flashlight can be used by both left-handed and right-handed users.
