Always keep the crossbow safe from children and young people as well as untrained and unauthorized people.
Before using the crossbow, check whether it is technically functional, i.e. always check the crossbow for correct assembly. The tendon must be sufficiently waxed and must not be split. The bolts must match the shape and length of the crossbow and be technically correct.
Only cock the crossbow if a shot is fired immediately afterwards.
