Das MG4 LMG ein leichtes Maschinengewehr von Heckler & Koch wurde im Jahre 2001 – noch unter der Bezeichnung MG43 – im Rahmen des IdZ-Programms (Infanterist der Zukunft) erstmalig vorgestellt. Somit ergänzt es optimal das MG3 auf der Ebene der Infanteriegruppe der deutschen Bundeswehr. Bei der Entwicklung wurde weiterhin Wert auf geringes Gewicht und leichte Handhabung sowohl für Rechts- als auch für Linksschützen gelegt.
The Airsoft replica of the MG4 LMG manufactured by VFC with original markings from Heckler & Koch has, like the original, a fully automatic electric shot drive and an extremely reliable special metal gearbox.
The LMG is mostly made of metal. Body, RAS, Flashhider, barrel and handle are made of extremely high quality zinc die-cast as well as CNC milled steel and aluminum .
The shaft, bipod and flip-up sights can be folded down .
There is enough space under the barrel for a 9.6V Nunchuck NiMh or 7.4V LiPo battery .
The barrel with a length of 480 mm and a diameter of 6.08 mm guarantees the best results for an LMG.
The LMG is the perfect choice for support fire with high mobility and maneuverability at the same time.
Experienced support gunner will soon no longer notice any difference to a normal assault rifle in terms of weight and length, but will still provide far more supportive firepower.
