The AirJavelin Co2 Air Archery in the tactical AR15 style from Umarex combines the properties of an air rifle with the penetrating power of a crossbow .

The Air Javelin Airpower rifle is powered by an 88 gram Co2 capsule. This is inserted into the forend. The arrow is then pushed into the rifle from the front until the arrow clicks into place. For safety, there is a push-button safety attached to the arrow rifle. If the arrow gun is unlocked, it is immediately ready to fire.

The skilled shooter can aim at the target using the built-in open sights or adjust a dot sight or scope for pinpoint arrow placement. The Air Javelin is equipped with a continuous Picatinny rail on the top and below the barrel. The front part of the housing is also equipped with M-LOK mounts.
